This is a truly exciting time to join King’s Trust International (KTI) as we launch our ambitious new 10-year strategy to support one million young people to learn, earn and thrive.

Working across more than 20 countries, we partner with governments, NGOs and employers to create life-changing opportunities for young people facing the greatest barriers. Now, we’re looking for an International Programme Manager (Pakistan) to play a pivotal role in driving our work forward during a 12-month maternity cover.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape impactful programmes in Pakistan, working at the intersection of delivery, strategy and partnership.

We are now looking for an International Programme Manager (Pakistan) to take the lead on delivering high-quality, youth-centred programmes in Pakistan, working closely with local partners to ensure strong performance, meaningful learning, and tangible outcomes for young people.

Alongside delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to shape new programme development, drive innovation, and influence how we grow our impact in Pakistan and across the region.

What you will be doing

  • Lead end-to-end management of programmes in Pakistan, ensuring delivery against targets, quality standards and compliance requirements
  • Work in close partnership with in-country organisations, providing guidance, challenge and hands-on support to strengthen delivery and impact
  • Manage programme budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, strong financial oversight and value for money
  • Champion high-quality monitoring, evaluation and learning, using data and insight to continuously improve programmes
  • Drive excellence across key themes including gender equality, inclusion, safeguarding, climate and digital innovation
  • Lead the scoping, design and set-up of new pilot projects, from initial research through to implementation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, funders and colleagues across KTI
  • Contribute to funding proposals, reporting and communications, bringing programme impact to life for different audiences
  • Represent KTI externally, advocating for youth employment and opportunities
  • Bring insight from labour markets, policy and programme experience to support organisational learning and growth

What you will bring

  • Strong experience managing programmes in an international development, youth or education context
  • A proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience managing budgets and programme reporting, with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and learning, and how to turn insight into action
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messages
  • Understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing young people in Pakistan
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused mindset
  • A genuine passion for creating opportunities for young people and delivering lasting impact

Who you are

You are a collaborative, driven and impact-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You’re equally comfortable getting into the detail as you are thinking strategically, and you bring energy, curiosity and ownership to everything you do.

Above all, you are motivated by making a difference, and excited by the opportunity to help young people build brighter futures.

If you are ready to play a key role in transforming young people’s lives in Pakistan and beyond, we would love to hear from you.
