At The King's Trust, we’re passionate about supporting young people aged 11 to 30 to get into jobs, education and training. If you want to help with that, then the Youth Development Lead role is perfect for you!

Youth Development Leads play a crucial role in delivering our programmes to young people, no matter their background or current circumstances, to fulfil their full potential. Last year, we helped more than 70,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome.  We’re focused on empowering our people to do their best work and to develop skills to accelerate their careers at the UK’s leading youth charity.

Our Youth Development Lead's engage and build quality relationships with young people, volunteers and partners. They are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making the right decision for young people.

They work as part of a team in a geographical area within a region/country and meet annual targets to ‘connect’, ‘progress’ and help ‘transform’ the lives of young people who need us most.

Supporting Young People

Through our partners, you will be directly and indirectly supporting young people to:

  • Engage in positive opportunities by creating learning sessions.
  • Develop skills for life in confidence, communication and teamwork.
  • Set and achieve their goals.
  • Gain qualifications.
  • Move into positive destinations whether that's employment, education, diversionary activities or further development opportunities.
